Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable countries to the climate change impact. It is well recognized across the world and it has been scientifically proved. We will have to raise our voice for the compensation as we are the sufferer though we are not at all responsible for that.
The upcoming Conference of Parties (COP) 20, climate conference is another chance for us to raise our voices in this regard. It is the chance to demand our compensation and to lead in the negotiation process.
We, networks of right based civil society organizations and journalists working on the issue of climate change and environment are going to jointly organize the seminar to discuss the aforesaid subject. Dr. Hasan Mahmod, Member of the Parliament and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing committee for the Ministry of Forest and Environment will be Chief Guest of the Seminar.
Seminar titled : CoP 20 Climate Change Summit: Challenges towards leadership for Bangladesh ,
