First Ever Ambassador of Bangladesh to Denmark

The Government has decided to appoint Mr. Muhammad Abdul Muhit, currently serving as Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister in Bangladesh Embassy in Washington D.C. as the first ever Ambassador of Bangladesh to Denmark.

A career diplomat, Mr. Muhammad Abdul Muhit belongs to the 11th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre. In his distinguished diplomatic career other than the Embassy in Washington D.C., he has also served at Bangladesh Missions in Kuwait, Qatar, Italy and Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York in different capacities.

Mr. Muhit obtained MSS in Sociology from Dhaka University. He is well conversant in Arabic and has specialization on information technology.

He is married and blessed with two daughters.
