The red carpet was rolled out as Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN arrived today morning on a three-day official visit. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received her counterpart at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 9:50am. Later, Sheikh Hasina introduced the Cambodian premier with her Cabinet ministers, the chiefs of the three services, other senior civil and military officials at the VVIP terminal of the airport.

A tiny tot welcomed the Cambodian Prime Minister and entourage with bouquets. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Forestry and Fisheries, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, Ministers Delegate attached to Samdech Techo Prime Minister, and senior government officials of the Kingdom of Cambodia also accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit. The Cambodian Premier was then taken to Sonargaon Hotel in a motorcade where he will be staying during the visit.

Mr. Hun Sen visited the National Martyrs’ Memorial (Jatiya Smriti Shoudha) at Savar where he placed floral wreath, signed visitors’ book and planted a sapling. Mr. Hun Sen visited Dhaka EPZ today afternoon. Mr. Hun Sen signed the visitors’ book and had a short visit to a garment factory.

The Cambodian Premier spent some time at Dharmarajik Buddha Maha Bihar at Sabujbagh. He joined a dinner hosted by the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
